According to their <a title="LeastLikely2Breed.net/ttnr" href="http://www.leastlikely2breed.net/ttnr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">website</a>, Lanolin is sheep wool fat, which they say is the prime ingredient in most nipple preparations. Knowing this, "sheep wool fat" is all I'd be able to think about if I used it for chapped lips. We need a Lipple Rub! Note: There are different Lanacane products for relief of itching, sunburn, irritated skin, bug bites, scrapes, etc. Their website FAQs say, "We recommend that you speak to your doctor before using" if you're pregnant or nursing. My daughter (who is an RN) was using it on her lips (and cheeks). She giggled and explained that it was for nipples during breastfeeding.
