Glitter Glue is pretty eye-catching. How creative can you get with it? I ran some ideas by Rose Art, a brand of Mega Brands…
Dear Glitter Glue Geniuses:
Rose Art Glitter Glue colors are some of the glitteriest I’ve seen. That Royal Blue is exquisite! If I wanted to Glitter Glue the walls of my entire 20 feet x 20 feet garage, including the ceiling in Rose Art Royal Blue glitter glue, how many containers would it take?
Have you ever considered developing something like a Glitter Glue Graffiti Gun? Maybe sparkling graffiti will become a more acceptable and respected art form than standard graffiti. It would certainly be an improvement over spray paint. Curse words would look less offensive, and even pretty, glittering on the sides of buildings and bridges. What are your thoughts?
I also think you would sell lots more Glitter Glue if you came up with a catchy slogan — something that has the potential to become a classic like Sally sells sea shells by the sea shore. How about: Glitter Glue guru, Garth, Glitter Glues gazillion Gummy Gators, gets on Google. That ought to make Sally want to crawl into one of her shells!
Have you ever tried to say Glitter Glue ten times fast? It could be a fun company team building exercise. If you do, let me know how many times someone can say it without screwing up because I’m only good for 2 or 3 tops.
The Rose Art Team responded with:
Thank you for the positive feedback on the Rose Art Glitter Glue. Please enjoy the enclosed Glitter Glue products.
Final Thoughts: While Rose Art didn’t address even one of my questions, they still delivered in a very artful and thoughtful way. The reply was handwritten on a 4 x 6 piece of blue-lined sticky notepad paper, and no, it wasn’t written in glitter glue. It arrived in a bubble mailer with two boxes of Glitter Glue pen applicators — 5 Jumbo and 9 Regular. The blue is beautiful, although there wasn’t nearly enough to Glitter Glue my entire garage.
If you’re looking for craft and activities products, explore Rose Art. However, if you really want to see whether the performance of a customer service department sparkles, you can always Write The Company.

There are two ways to look at this product. First, here’s the problem I see with Glitter Glue. Glue is for sticking things together. That means there are sides that no longer show after the glue is applied. So, who cares whether there’s glitter in the glue because you can’t see it?
Second, I can only assume this product is supposed to be a stand in for the old fashioned way of putting glitter on a craft project. Put the glue down, throw a handful of glitter on, then tap the paper sideways. Shake the remainder off. At least there was some opportunity of getting more glitter than glue on the paper.
I avoid Glitter Glue at all costs. Finished projects always end up sticking to something else because, after all, what else can glue do? It’s pretty in the container, but pretty messy outside of that. Unless, you have a supplemental jar of glitter to add, you just end up with a sticky mess. The packaging makes it very inviting, but pretty is as pretty does (to coin a phrase).

Okay, maybe all that glitters is not glue. However, it looks cool and is an improvement on the old-fashioned way of applying glitter to the glue by hand, which would be very tedious and time-consuming for big projects like glitter gluing an entire garage. No matter what you use Glitter Glue for, or how messy it may be, it can still provide memories that stick with you forever.
