Once again, it’s terrific to hear from you! I’m glad you finally “stumbled” on the post. As you now know, I write many letters, but companies don’t know I’m “Write The Company” or posting them and the responses online. Your reply is still one of my favorites. It’s also refreshing to hear from a company like Mack’s that’s so customer-friendly and has a great sense of humor.

A colleague stumbled upon your “Write The Company” website a few days ago and mentioned that our company, McKeon Products, manufacturers of Mack’s Earplugs, was featured on the site under the title “Mack’s Clears The Ear”. We read the piece and got a kick out of it.

I really enjoyed reading the collection of other letters you’ve posted. They’re quite entertaining, witty, and even educational. I’m also a fan of writing companies as I feel that consumers should speak up when they have questions and/or concerns about products or services. My parents taught me this lesson when I was young and I’ve been writing companies ever since (not nearly as often as you, but certainly whenever I’m compelled to do so). Don’t worry, I’ve no plans to start a website named, “I ALSO Write The Company.com”. Like you, I enjoy the responses I receive, although I must say that some responses leave me more confused and frustrated than when I started.
