Craving Mighty Dog

Pets & Animals

Posted by WriteTheCompany.com

This inquiry about Mighty Dog should give you some food for thought. Then again, it might not…

Dear Mighty Dog Nutritionists:

I must admit, your Mighty Dog Chicken, Egg & Bacon Dinner looks mighty tasty. What would happen if a human ate it? It sure looks a lot better than some of the stuff my wife whips up.

The fact that you don’t have to heat it up is also an advantage. So if you’re in a rush, you can take it “to go.” Wouldn’t that make for the ultimate doggy bag? Would there be any side effects? I’d hate to wake up in the middle of the night with a desire to start sniffing the furniture or licking things that wouldn’t be real acceptable for non-canines.

Have you considered a line of similar foods called Mighty Human? Do you have any plans to add Shepherd Pie to your menu or would that give German Shepherds the willies?

Unleash your answers — I can take it!

The response from a Pet Advisor at Nestlé Purina PetCare included:

This product has been designed for the nutritional needs of cats and dogs rather than people. While we would not expect any of the ingredients to cause ill effects, we do not recommend it for human consumption.

Final Thoughts: My Pet Advisor also thanked me twice for contacting the Nestlé Purina PetCare Company and invited me to contact their Office of Consumer Affairs should I need additional assistance. Obviously she has been very well-trained. So, if you’re thinking of sharing a bowl of Mighty Dog with your best friend, you have been advised.

With that, it’s time for lunch. But before putting anything in your mouth that you’re not sure of, make sure to Write The Company.
