Bayer Explains Aspirin

Health Care

Posted by WriteTheCompany.com

Years ago, after taking two aspirin, I contacted Bayer in the morning…

Dear Aspirin Research Director:

Something has been giving me a headache and I’d appreciate a scientific answer. Why do they call it Aspirin when you take it orally? Or have I been taking it wrong all these years? What were they thinking when they named this medication?

Confusedly yours,
“Me”

The response from Bayer Consumer Care summed it up like this:

The active ingredient in aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid (ASA). It is for this reason that the term “aspirin” is used.

Final Thoughts: Now you know two ways to find relief: Bayer Aspirin and Write The Company.
